Mechanical Engineering · Aerospace Engineering · Michigan Technological University · Class of 2030
Eli is a first-year Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering double major at Michigan Technological University, originally from Greensboro, North Carolina. He is actively involved in two university labs, where he has programmed Ethernet communications between a Speedgoat real-time computer and a bench power supply, and designed sensor testing apparatus for autonomous UAV field data collection. On the software side, he has built a full-stack desktop application with an Electron + React frontend and Python FastAPI backend, and has architected a local multi-agent AI orchestration system leveraging quantized model inference, Cloudflare tunneling, and RAG-based memory. He has strong interests in aerospace, defense technology, and quantitative finance, and brings the same disciplined, systems-level thinking to everything he builds.
